A unique and colourful alternative to plastic bags, providing work for women in Sri Lanka. Offering hope in the form of colour to create a way forward towards a brighter future. Uniting and empowering women from different parts of the world, with one goal to protect our planet.
Bags of Colour has now developed and are now being made by a group of tsunami affected women on the east coast of Sri Lanka, through The Sewalanka foundation and Sedco. I aslo work with and support a small group of women who manage their own group independantly in and around Colombo providing work for women in deprived areas of the capital, within their own homes.

I believe that now is a time for women to rise up, to encourage and support each other to be the best we can be. We cannot do it alone, but united together we can make great things happend, and be the change in our world and the voice in the darkness.
